Welcome to Wye Lavender of Rhayader.
Powys, Wales.

We are a small lavender farm 1,000 feet above sea level surrounded by stunning views of the Welsh Wye Valley, the Elan Valley and Rhayader our home town.

Soon, amongst these green and fertile fields there will be a sweet smelling purple one!

Now in our third year and thankfully not as harsh as last year, our "Grosso", "Royal Purple", Imperial Gem and Maillette plants are developing well. We will be starting our harvest around June/July, 2012 and are fully prepared for a bumper stock of beautiful lavender bouquets.

We had a good season last year with sales of our "Imperial Gem" and "Grosso" bunches and as our plants mature they will yeald more flowers,so we expect to have more dried & fresh bunches available this year and already a tremendous amout of interest has been shown.

We still have a good stock of loose flower heads, suitable for cooking and craft. Please contact us for details.

We continue to have great plans for the future development of our Welsh lavender; please take a look at what we do.

The pleasures and benefits of Lavender are nemerous and have been enjoyed by mankind for thousands of years and will continue to be a part of our lives long after we have left this earth.

Take a look at our site, see what we are doing and what we are about. Our news page is frequently updated keeping you posted as to what we and our customers are doing with our lavender.

Wye lavender, arouses the senses!
